Buddy-Programme

The Buddy-Programme offers support for international students to make their start into a new student life at our department easier. Therefore Viennese students from Cultural and Social Anthropology support Erasmus students with questions regarding the university or also sightseeing and tips and tricks for an easier living in everyday Vienna. Especially at the beginning of a semester there is a need for guidance, which is also a helpful first contact to fellow students.

However it is not only helpful for Erasmus-Students but also for their Buddies. Engaging as a buddy opens new possibilities, as for example mutual international exchange, improving your language skills, or get prepared for your own Erasmus-Mobility. To become a Buddy there are no specific requirements, except of your reliability and curiosity to get to know new people.
